Who is responsible

Mikael Allirol runs Any Great Idea and is responsible for the personal data handled through this website (the data controller under the GDPR). Write to hello@anygreatidea.com with any question about your data.

The idea check

What you write in the idea check, and your answers to its questions, are sent to Anthropic’s AI model Claude, which writes the assessment. That is the only purpose. This website does not save the text, and it reaches me only if you choose to send it to me by email.

Please don’t write names, contact details or other information about specific people in the box; the assessment doesn’t need them.

The legal basis is that you ask for the assessment: steps taken at your request before a possible agreement (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Anthropic (Claude)

Anthropic PBC in the USA processes the text on my behalf under its data processing terms, so the text is processed outside the EU. The transfer is covered by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses in those terms.

Anthropic does not use the text to train its models. It deletes it within 30 days, or keeps it for up to 2 years if its automated safety systems flag it as breaking its usage policy.

When you write to me

If you email me, I use your address and what you write to answer you and, if we work together, to do the work (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). I keep the conversation for as long as it is relevant and delete it at the latest 2 years after our last contact if we never work together. Invoices and other accounting records are kept for 7 years, as Swedish accounting law requires.

Mail to hello@anygreatidea.com is passed on by an email forwarding service to my inbox at Google (Gmail).

Hosting

The website runs on Vercel Inc. in the USA. Like every web server, it briefly records technical data such as IP address, time and the page requested, to keep the site running and secure (legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The transfer is covered by standard contractual clauses.

Cookies

The website sets one cookie, NEXT_LOCALE, and only when you pick a language in the language menu. It remembers your choice for one year. There are no cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking, and the fonts are served from this website itself.

Your rights

You have the right to know which personal data I hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its use, and to get it in a portable form. Write to hello@anygreatidea.com and I will reply within one month.

You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY, imy.se) or to the data protection authority where you live.
